Introducing the 2025 Earth Partner Prize: Art, Youth & Climate Action Unite

In an era where the climate and ecological emergency demands urgent attention — and creative solutions — Art Partner has launched the 2025 Earth Partner Prize, a bold initiative spotlighting young artists using their craft to spark change.

Who’s behind the Prize?

Art Partner is a globally-respected creative agency and talent collective, championing sustainability through its Earth Partner division. Since launching Earth Partner in 2017, the team has committed to zero-waste production across its studios and has amplified climate voices via art — like the #CreateCOP competitions that ran alongside COP 25 and COP 26.

At the helm is a diverse and visionary jury: international curators, educators, activists, and cultural leaders. From UNESCO’s Lidia Arthur Brito to Serpentine’s Hans Ulrich Obrist, the panel bridges science, design, and artistic activism.

What is the Earth Partner Prize?

  • Open to all: Creatives aged 14–30 worldwide, with no restriction on nationality, gender, or background.

  • Any medium accepted: Visual storytelling, documentary and experimental film, performance, spoken word, music, dance, fashion innovation, digital tools, app design, social‑media campaigns — and more.

  • AI OK — with transparency: Participants using AI must disclose its use and reflect on its environmental impact versus creative benefit.

Themes to Explore

Artists are encouraged to respond to the ecological crisis across urgent and intersecting themes, including:

  • Species extinction & biodiversity loss

  • Climate grief, anxiety & mental health

  • Indigenous knowledge and regenerative futures

  • Plastic overconsumption & waste transformation

  • Sustainable materials & alternative economies

  • Greenwashing & environmental disinformation

  • Climate justice, migration & intergenerational equity

Awards & Visibility

  • 8 finalists receive cash awards: $10 000, $5 000, or $2 000.

  • 20 honourable mentions are selected by a global jury.

  • Official finalists and honorees are showcased on ArtPartner.com, EarthPartner.com, and across Art Partner’s social channels.

Global Exhibition Opportunities

Finalist works may be featured in the Earth Partner Exhibition, a touring showcase with editions at:

  • UN Headquarters, New York

  • Fotografiska Shanghai during Shanghai Climate Week

  • Photo London 2024

  • Upcoming presentation at Borgo Laudato Si' in Vatican City for the 2025 Jubilee

This level of international exposure is rare for young artists — and priceless in its potential to shape global climate culture.

Important Dates

  • Submission window: June 11 – October 10, 2025 (23:59 CET) vogue.comvogue.com.

  • Entry is free, and artists may apply solo or with a team (one submission per person/group) earthpartner.com.

Why the Earth Partner Prize Matters

  1. Amplifies underrepresented voices. Art Partner intentionally centres those most impacted by climate change but often overlooked in global discourse.

  2. Builds cultural momentum. Art reframes climate as emotional, urgent, and deeply human — moving beyond statistics to shared experiences.

  3. Bridges creativity and impact. It’s not just exhibition space — this is funded, juried, and professionally showcased art driving real-world visibility.

How You Can Help

  • Share this feature with artists, educators, arts organizations, and youth climate groups.

  • Encourage submissions before October 10, 2025.

  • Cover the finalist announcement — or highlight creative case studies once winners are selected.

The climate crisis needs both radical imagination and systemic solutions. The Earth Partner Prize invites the next generation to lead with art at the centre.
